Law of Averages…nah!

We were celebrating two birthdays tonight. It was the usual kind of celebrations - birthday bumps, cakes...ah cakes! It is customary here to sing 'Happy Birthday to you' before the cake s are cut, like it is everywhere else - nothing strange or unique there. What is unique though is the way this was sung. There is this 'Law of averages' which says that eventually, everything "evens out." Not at iiit-b. Nope. Everyone - there were a lot tonight - was singing and singing at his own accord. No two people were in sync. Not even those guys who were just mumbling. This really really shows our uniqueness. Wah iiit-b!
